Welcome to our homepage Mr Winterbottom. On this page we want to tell you about our hobby with Cairn Terriers and our own 3 dogs Tam O'Shanter's Mr. Pommeroy, Aurikels Little Miss Sophie and Mr Winterbottom's Anky van Grunsven.

Our kennel name, Mr Winterbottom is taken from one of the characters in a short television comedy: "Dinner for One" which is shown every New Year's Eve in Germany and Denmark. Our first Cairn Terrier Mr. Pommeroy is named after another character from this same show. Miss Sophie is named after  another characters from this comedy.

We bought Mr. Pommeroy in March 2000 from Kennel Tam O'Shanter's in Vinkel, which is close to Viborg. The kennel is owned by Helle Møller Bjerregaard.

Our bitch Little Miss Sophie came to our home in the summer of 2005, and we got her from Kennel Aurikels, owned by Jørgen Bak-Jensen from Tappernøje on Sjælland.

Our second bitch Mr Winterbottom's Anky van Grunsven is our own breeding, and she is born on 29th of January 2008

Our first litter vi got in september 2004, the so called "Sweden litter. Nordcairn's Kabala was the bitch. May 2005 she got her second litter "The danish danceband litter" June 2006 she gave birth to the "Chewinggum litter". Juli 2007 she got her 4th litter (her last) called the "President-litter". Aurikels Little Miss Sophie has her first litter in January 2008, called the "Dutch litter".

We live in Frederiks a small village 17 km south of Viborg and 7 km north of Karup in a beautiful area known as the Moor of Jutland. We have a nice house with a big garden where our two Cairn Terriers run around having a good time digging holes in the lawn.
